David Knight + Kawasaki no ISDE 2009
"Obviously it will take a little time for everything to get rolling, but hopefully we can get on top of everything and carry it over into next year where we should be set up perfect for the WEC. This year, i'll miss Mexico as its next week, but then race the final WEC rounds, British enduro Championship, ISDE, some endurocross, FIM Indoor World Championship, Red Bull Romaniacs and some other races that might come along! Can't wait, Anyway hope to catch up with u all at the races, Cheers, Knighter"

David Knight’s Kawasaki KX450F First Look
By now everyone has heard about the split between BMW and off-road racing star, David Knight. The Isle of Man resident was unable to produce the desired results for the team and his own high standards. The division was announced only a short time ago, but Knighter has wasted no time in getting his act together on American shores. With the MotorcycleUSA.com Snowshoe GNCC going on this weekend, there’s plenty of incentive for the Manxman to return to the US. The winner will receive $10,000 in purse money from MotorcycleUSA.com. Second place gets $5K and third earns $3K. Kawasaki has also offered $10K for a victory which would put the overall winnings at a very enjoyable 20,000 dollars! We heard rumors that Knight would try to use his considerable talent to collect a sweet summer bonus and that was confirmed this afternoon when we saw him and Powersport Graphics owner, Bart Hayes, tuning a privateer KX450F.
Knight purchased the bike on his own and enlisted Hayes to help get the green beast ready for the toughest GNCC race of the year. Right away we noticed that the bike is suspended by WP components, including a shock with linkage! This unique setup stemmed from Hayes’ and Knight’s considerable experience with White Power components over their respective careers. The bike also uses an Akrapovic exhaust, Talon carbon fiber hubs, Excel wheels, Hinson clutch, Pirelli tires, custom Guts seat, Twin Air filter, Acerbis handguards, Ride PG graphics, Renthal bars and grips, Sunline levers, IMS fuel tank with dry break.

Esses números são uma miséria... a Kawa dá 10k por uma victória?? Eles que não paguem bem, que a KTM ainda lhe lança o isco outra vez... 10k são peanuts para um piloto que tinha um contracto com a BMW...
