ISDE 2009 - DAY REPORT

DAY 1
ISDE 2009 started on a cool damp morning with the first of 428 bikes off at 8:00 AM. Things really started looking up for Team USA when Kurt Caselli hit the first special test... LER MAIS

DAY 2
Day two covered the same course as day one. The terrain was chewed up on the special tests as another 400 bikes went over the course twice again today. Disaster struck early for England’s David Knight. He crashed hard in the first special test and did a face plant as he looped the bike... LER MAIS

DAY 3
Today was a new course heading north out of Figueira da Foz, into an area that included some rocky ravines and a special test on a mountain top. Juha Salminen is out for the week with an ignition problem on his BMW. The bike did not start on the starting ramp this morning and his ISDE was finished for the year... LER MAIS

DAY 4
KTM’s Samuli Aro, one of the most experienced riders on the track, maintained similar times to the two previous days when he held the lead in E3. But Aro lost time on Wednesday to Frenchman Christophe Nambotin... LER MAIS

Sim, eu já tinha visto isto. Acho que até foi naquela especial que fomos ver em que eles passavam naquelas casas sem telhado.

O Erikson perdeu a minha total consideração. Tinha muita admiração por este piloto, mas agora deixei de ter.
